Thanks for your replies on this, I choosed Diving tackle for her 2nd skill....
This (in combination with jump up/no 3 MA for standing up) gives me the opportunity to put a tackle zone around a potential catcher and I find it extremly useful if your half has been flooded with High Elf receivers.
So now I got two Witch Elves, one with Diving Tackle/Tackle, the other with Diving Tackle, so my opponent should think twice before he starts to rush downfields.
My 2 DE Blitzers almost do the scoring work, so I took this defensive skill.

At least it not just my HE's that are afflicted by the "anything but a 1" syndrome. Unfortunately, mine have trouble picking up the ball to start a running playAmon242 wrote:As far as catch for a WiE, I used to pass a lot with the Dark Elves, but after countless '1' drops, I started running the ball and found they are probably better suited to that style of play.

"I'm sorry, but proper attire and pointy ears required.
Maybe we should start a whole thread of nothing but people checking in and signing up as members of the AG4 Snake-Eyes Club. Price of admission: 1 good tale about double 1s with elves.Darkson wrote:At least it not just my HE's that are afflicted by the "anything but a 1" syndrome.
{edit: stoopid typos. Double 1 on my typing roll.}

Dark Elves:
With time running down on the clock the Dark Elves needed a desperate score in two turns to tie things up and take our playoff match against the Chaos Dwarves into overtime. The elves where ready to go and took a quick snap on the kickoff. This allowed a weak spot in the wall to be exploited and a blitzer and witch elf streaked free down the field with a pair of blockers acting as an escort. Trying to bust loose a hobgoblin from a tackle zone, a chaos dwarfs make a two dice block – “double skulls”, reroll “double skulls”. The gods had smiled and all I had to do now was waltz up my thrower, complete the long pass and take an easy score into OT. The thrower ran up and sent a long perfect spiral to the witch elf. The witch elf reached up for the catch.. '1', reroll '1'.. the ball bounced off her hands and scattered on the ground, ending the Dark Elf playoff drive. The thrower was then promptly injured on the next play.

Wood Elves:
Overtime in the semi-final against a chaos team. We won the toss, great this will be a quick TD and we've won.
1st down, move to pick up the ball with a thrower, 1, reroll with sure hands, 1. Oh well this happens, grit teeth and try again next turn.
2nd down, attempt to pick up the ball again, guess what, snake eyes again
3rd down, by this time my teams in a sorry state and my thrower has a beastman breathing down his neck, make one last valient attempt to pick up the ball and fail the dodge roll (luckily he survived). by this point even the chaos team could manage to pick up the ball and run it in. Not a good day for the wood elves.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

Humans:
Start of OT in semifinal playoff game - winner goes to the Blood Bowl. With a 2 man advantage, a Human thrower attempts to pick up the ball. Rolls a 2 then a 1. Second turn. Humans guard thrower, push saurii out of way. Thrower attempts to pick up the ball - rolls a 2, then a 2. Skink dodges through tackle zones, picks up ball in a tackle zone, dodges out, goes for it twice and throws the ball to another skink inaccurately. Humans blitz skink off ball and create cage around it. Thrower moves in to pick up the ball and rolls a 2, then a 2. Ball bounces to the catcher, who gets it on his second try.
Thrower is named MVP of game.
