Wow not even a welcome or anything. Just straight to insulting me and going right to threats. I have no interest in causing any problems, I am looking to talk about the topic that is on the board here. I posted on a few other topics on this forum too.

Darkson - please could you explain the need for such an aggressive post? Is there some history we need to know about? If not, I am a bit baffled.

All the best.

I just played my necro team with 2 MB/Block/Pile on werewolf against a goblin and halfling team. Man these teams are so much fun to play against once you cas-ed the 2 big guy by turn3 (he put them off the LOS trying to save his priced trees and Trolls).

I really felt like I was abusing the Claw against the treemen. The other 13 turns were SPP-hunting trying to push the halfling (and goblins) in range of my slower SPP-growing (golems) for more cas-goodness.

Once I had 6 or less small guys on the pitch I'd reset the game by scoring... brilliant farming.

And realistically there is nothing they can do except hope you get really unlucky on armor rolls. The haflings going toprotect the tree? I just dont see that as much of a plan.

Cupcake is the author of at least 200 of a 400+ page monster thread on Claw on the Cyanide forum, full of misquotes, ad hominem attacks, general trolling and dubious mathematics that then become "proof" (such as "Claw will make 14 cas per game"). He has also managed to sidetrack more than one thread into a Claw thread, and recently started a thread with the title "Idea for Claw. Not changing Claw don't worry".

He also seems to believe that the Cyanide game is now the most important way to play Blood Bowl, and the MM (the Cyanide online Match Making, that matches you with a [roughly] equivalent TV) is now the system that the rules should be balanced round, despite being told repeatedly (including by Galak) that Cyanide are causing a lot of the issues he's seeing.

Finally, anyone that disagrees with him is a troll and/or a sockpuppet (I'm a Dark Lord sockpuppet, or visa-versa - he never really made it clear which way it was), and basically he's correct, everyone else is wrong.

To be honest, if it wasn't for the fact he didn't call anyone a "know nothing n00b" on any of the 400 pages the monster thread ran for, I'd swear he was Toby/Force under a new log in.

That is one interesting view of things. There was a huge thread on that forum, the mass bulk of it was Dark, the other dark, and a few others doing mass trolling. Taking things I posted out of context and running with them for weeks and making a lot of photo-shop pictures to try to make fun of me. He is one of the people on that forum that I black listed because he trolled and didnt add anything to posts. I disagreed with several others on the forums but they atleast talked about the actually subject.

He is correct, the vast majority of my posts were on that thread. Why? Because I don't spend times trolling on the forums. I only post on an issue that interests me enough to get involved.

His initial post here is about on par wtih his behavior on the other forum. I am just looking for a place to talk about the game. By the fact this thread is on page 8 before I got here, their is some interest in this topic.

Black Orcs are in the same situation. 4 turns to score,

Orc Line man…3 turns to score with them
What size fields are you playing on?
Wood elf lineman (slighty more expensive) fast spp gain. Shorter life span due to 7 armor.
Well with all the claw the 7 armor is a blessing as I have other benefits the Black Orc doesn't.

If you're up against an opponent who is loaded with Claw, then be happy he is wasting all that team value on a skill you can neutralize to a fair amount. He can have 11 claws on the field all he wants but only one of those is blitzing. Dodge your players 1 square away. Do not follow up Blocks. Use your Blitz to free up a player with lower agility from having to Dodge away.

If I can slow down/stop an opponent from scoring and having only 1-2 guys removed from the game then I am happy no matter what team I am playing, since that loaded Claw/MB team isn't stopping me from scoring on the next drive.

Claw/MB/Piling On is a great combo and should be taken by a couple players on any team that can get it. But there are many other skills they need to win too.

I realize with a straight shot and some extra squares that they can do it in one less turn, but I was talking about a realistic shot at scoring. It is reastlic to score in 2 turns with an elven lineman but a stretch to with an orc lineman is what I ment by it.

I don't think having more then 4 claws is worth it for the team, but with 4 claws you can be extremely devastating. After that I think it still helps but the cost/reward is not as good.

zomg Dodes stop following me!!! Just kidding, I dont agree with you on some issues but your good stuff.

I would say in MM more then 4 is doable, but in league play 4 is about all I would take, but I also play to win.

Honestly, I've never been too worried about claw. By the time a team has a decent amount of claw and the skills to make claw really nasty, I'll have plenty of block and guard and their one or two really good killer pieces will have trouble staying standing. If they have a whole team of claw kitted killers, they aren't choosing skills well and I will likely have more guard than they can handle.

Then again, there can be some really nasty killer pieces with claw, mighty blow, and piling on. That guy, however, will have a lot of block dice (and probably a foul or two) going his direction if I have my way. Against claw based killer teams you just have to stick closer together.

Only because you're on an enforced holiday from the Cyanide forum for excessive trolling.

Once again let me say this. I am looking for a place to talk about the game. I have made several posts on this forum so far and all have been about the game. Somebody on the other forum gave me this link and said it might be a better place to talk about rules then the other forum. I thanked them and then signed up for this forum.

You have continued to attack me hence another post from you without anything to do with the actual game. There is trolling going on, but it is not from me. This is exactly why you were black listed on the other forum and now have started that list for this forum.
