I think it would be better if there were listed players that can get the weapon instead of teams (I mean, Blunderbusses are supposed to be carried by Chaos Dwarf Blockers, and Trollslayers shouldn't drive a Deathroller - I know that the last one is a bad example, but I hope my point is made clear).
I doubt they'll get rid of Scrappa since I don't think the SW rules will be allowed in tournament (freebooting not allowed).

So Scrappa will stay and that will be the Orcs access to him.

There you go ... I REALLY don't want weapons tied to positions. Tied to team is exactly how I want them.

Well, I think we'll have to agree to disagree. I don't like the bizarre things that could come out of weapons linked to teams (i.e. Blunderbuss on Hobgoblins), but I won't try to switch your mind, as it is a fact that you had more experience on this game than me, and surely you have a reason to keep your position.
Weapons linked to positions in teams (and so linked to teams) made a bit more sense to me, but that's a personal taste. It's a bit contradictory with the "mini for rule/rule for mini" statement (which was used to make the weapons team lists) to allow Hobgoblins to carry Blunderbusses (there I go again!) when there is no such miniature (and I realize conversions exist). But then again, it's a thing I won't do, but I can't just force people to play my way, or impose MY view of Blood Bowl to others. I just hope you understand why I suggest such a thing, and I would like to see the reasons behind your option.

Stu wrote:So really, where the article says race it would be clearer to say team.

The reason I ask about the Pogo Stick is that it also removes stunty, allowing the player to throw the ball properly and avoid the injury modifier. As the rules for stunty already say how it works when carrying a weapon, shouldn't the Pogo Stick just remove right stuff?
I believe the reason for removing stunty was because they can't dodge on a 3+ carrying a Pogo stick. They would be subjected to the normal rules of dodging.

But the rules for stunty already say that stunty players dodge normally if carrying a weapon. Removing stunty is actually a good thing for a player with a weapon.

I dont think the removal of stunty is meant to make injuries less or passing ranges more. I believe your still supposed to get the +1 injury and still make passes at one pluss range band. It just doesnt allow u to dodge into tacklezones ignoring the -1 mods.

LRB 2.0 pp 37
Stunty (Racial Characteristic)
Stunty is now a racial characteristic that applies only to players that start with it on their team list. It may not be gained by other players, or lost by players that start with it. The player is so small that they are very difficult to tackle because they can duck underneath opposing players’ outstretched arms and run between their legs. To represent this the player may ignore any enemy tackle zones on the square he is moving to when he makes a Dodge roll (ie, they always end up with a +1 Dodge roll modifier). This ability does not apply if the player is armed with a secret weapon (such as a pogo stick or chainsaw), as the weapon slows the little fellow down and makes him easier to grab.

Stunty players are just a bit too small to throw the ball very well, and so must increase the range by one category when they make a pass. In addition, the little guys tend to break rather easily, which is represented by allowing the opposing coach to add +1 whenever he makes an Injury roll to a stunty player. This is in addition to any other modifiers that might
apply.
