It will have to be orcs. Still the only team I have painted. Skills shall, as is tradition, be chosen about ten minutes before kick off and scribbled on the back of a fag packet :D

Buggrit: No. You can never have too much frenzy.

Ok, guys, I'm in a bit of quandry. Who would rather see Zara? Who would rather see Puggy? Who would rather see Zug?

My heart says Zara, my head Zug, and Inkpwn voted Puggy.

So....No Puggy then :D

Im a massive fan of Zara, 1 less St (but still S4) on a jump up blodger with Dauntless and more movement IIRC for about 10-20k more than Zug

if i can afford her , I will always take her over Zug (yes even against dwarves!!)

Trouble is, in my test games, she (I) have not performed well.

Because of dice rolls or expectation/ positioning ?

What I mean is we all have players who could / should do better...its sometimes the way that we play them, blitz with your block big guy ('cause he's got block) and moan when he bone-heads or wild aminals, thats a problem but as you know its going to happen you cannot complain when it does. Use him more wisely next time...

.

Youre smart enought to know when the averages are against you, did you expect to much? roll to much? or have you been a victim of poor dice? if its one of the former, review your expectations of that piece, maybe she doesnt fit your play style ( i favour mobility over bash so to me shes worth it) if she doesnt fit, go with Zug (more muscle less move) if she does " fit" look at positioning.

if its poor dice...Bad dice rolls = totally undefendable against

But you will be aware that the unwritten rule is anything that works in "playtesting" will fail in competition (leaping witchelves terrorised every team prior to Spiky last year) Once in Reading they where rubbish...

Zara is better than Zug if you are prepared to give her the ball - I'm guessing not.

Take Puggy.

I played pod.frey too... To be honest, I've not had many games with her, but haven't found that she has jelled with me particularly well.

I don't think I was particularly abused by the dice in my test games. My problem is that I can't seem to find her role. Should she blitz or use the dodge/jump up for mobility? Can I safely use her as a ball carrier without sure hands/catch/ag4? I am happy to use her to ball handle, but only in desperation.

Puggy, I've used before and really enjoy him, if only for the nuisance factor. He is mightily tempting.
