Experience with ST4 skink?

Hello,

In my online lizardmen team my st3 skink rolled a new skill. I was hoping for a double and then came double 6.

ST4 skink. Has anyone experience with a ST4 skink?

Off course we are looking for another double when I roll the next skill. As normal skill it will be side step.

That's a great roll! However it does make him worth 160k which I am not sure is worth it.

not worth it? thats 7 ST4 and 1 ST5 piece on your team, that skink will run through the opposition not around them.

I played Lizardmen for quite a while and would have loved the fun you could have with a ST4 Skink!!

in case of doubles of course block-strip ball-takle could be sure hands as well

great ball thief!

normal 10 armour increase (he is a jewel to be protected)

on simple i would go for side step-catch-sure feet- sprint/diving takle

in order to get him inside the cage thanks to the adversary blocks and as well in order to use him as ball carrier after some other skinks picks up the ball for him and hands it of to him.

I already got a AG4 skink with sidestep and sure feet to hand the ST4 skink the ball. Only need 50k anymore to buy the krox.

Amazing, great luck! Definitely take the STR, as it opens up two great avenues:

(1) When acting as a deep receiver, it will be really hard for opponent to knock you down, as he'll typically need three guys on this one skink to get a 2D block.

(2) This skink will be the ultimate cage breaker with stunty. Dodge into a cage, needing only 3's, then throw a 2D block against ball carriers. If this guy can eventually get Strip Ball, Block, or Wrestle he'll be a cage destroyer.

Agreed, ultmate cage breaking. I don't think I'd be comfortable with wrestle. I wouldn't want to lay the guy prone on purpose. That's if you roll yet another double. Sidestep and diving tackle seem like good options with a str4 skink. Sidestep and shadowing would be pretty good too.

I did not think of shadowing but would be great.

I prefer block because EVERYONE would foul him when he is on the ground.

All double's would be wellcome. But I would not complain with a +ag as well.

I don't see anything wrong with discussion the skill progression of a str4 skink. As good as str 4 is on a skink it's still a skink. str4 isn't auto win whatsoever. It's just one player and a rather fragile one at that. Without block even str4 is a easy target. I'm sure there is plenty of block/tackle/mighty blow/dp going around to keep a str4 skink in check. An induced wizard would be frightening.

This is NO discussion to take +ST or not. I have taken +ST and did not think one second for it.

This was a topic to ask if someone ever had a ST4 skink and what route to take now.

Side Step on a normal roll, just on reflex, because otherwise he'll get chained. Wrestle on a double, and AG on an 11.

Sidestep for sure! and Block on doubles. Then you will have the best player ever!!
I think its safe to say that he will be on all you oponents list of players that MUST die!!
