Burgun.....WTF? You go round pushing peoples buttons for fun like some mad man with a stick but every now and again you seem to have to remind us that you are some kind of marvelous craft wizard >.< You can't have it both ways skelator!

How did I miss this first time around?

Here's a picture of my Egyptian themed Blood Bowl Stadium. It's made of 1.5 inch Hirst Blocks and yes, it was a LOT of casting! Once the board was done, everything else flew together.

And here is the scoreboard.

This is where the home coaches get to view the game. The visitors are going to get one as well, but theirs is going to be just a room with no windows!!
Image

Finally the dug-out. Took forever finding all the numbers, they are from a clock making kit. Problem was I kept buying them outta stock. The letters are foam, and are some kinda kids set, but I really like how they came out anyway...

Anyway, hope ya all enjoy! I have been inspired by the people here.

Fab idea. I just got a dining room table off ebay because I wanted the chairs, and it's now sitting in my garage. Very tempted to make grooves in the top, to make it a permanent addition to a room. I'm sure a chess set exists that could be used as proxies for figures, though you might need a couple of the same set as there are often up to 4 positionals, so two lots of bishops, for example to use as the 4 human blitzers. Thinky thinky think...

My humble pitch still WIP. Adding association shields around the base of the bleachers and adding details to the penalty boxes.

Was very painful to do. Next one I'll use a different process where I can freely drybrush without having to painstakingly line each of those timbers. Also thinking of re-turfing the pitch. I'll keep the old one to use on a different table.

It's Drakeular, and yes he's an aussie. Unfortunately the pictures I'm aware of were posted via the Ausbowl Gallery, which has not yet been brought over to our new forum software.
