"Any technology, sufficiently advanced, is indistinguishable from magic...." With that (likely paraphrased) quote, and the unvailing of enhanced zombies and wights, Digger Goreman had set off a furious firestorm between the old guard Necromancers and the new guard Technomancers....

"But it's blatantly cheating!" roared an ancient Khemri guardian..., "Blood Bowl would never allow..." "And you would know?" A cocked eye-brow mocked the desicated desenter, "The Khemri have been getting away with murder, on the field, for years.... They finally curved back your 'magical enhancements' but you still find ways to tear the opposition apart.... I imagine, and on the highest authority, that there's a little more under the wraps and chasis of a guardian than just formaldahyde and 'secret herbs and spices'...."

"The truth of the matter, gentlezeds, is the only thing illegal in Blood Bowl is fouling... and that can be 'cost-adjusted'...." (This was met with general snickering from the assembly and dirty looks from the accountants) "The elves, skaven and slann have been abusing drugs and 'other altering substances' for years and getting away with it.... Do you really believe that any humanoid has that much agility, or can leap that high?! Hardly.... And don't get me started on 'mutations'...."
