390K undead Inducement help needed - Fast

Post by AntonLunau »

Im playing a tr1300 undead teams. I've played 5 games i have the following skills:

2 Ghouls Block, Sure Hands
1 Ghoul Block
1 Ghoul Wrestle
2 Mummy Guard

I have 12 players inc all positionals

Im playing a 1690 human team:
2 +st players (lineman, thrower)
No guard but lots of Block, Tackle
1 Ogre w. P/O

Its an online cyanid match so the inducements are quite limited:

Im thinking
Ramtut, Count Luthor or Nekbrekerekh + Wizard

I have never used Ramtut or the count before but im thinking about using Ramtut.

Without guard on his team hell have big problems dealing with 3 mummies. The same can be said about count Luther but im abit worried about having a loner like the the count who really wants to dodge and do some other heroics.

Whats your input? I really dont want to lose to those pesky humans

Anton

Ramtut or Luthor and i'm inclined to say Ramtut because St 6 Break Tackle is an awesome cage breaker and Ogre basher. :)

I’d say the Count is better as ST5 is plenty and AG4 is still useful even without dodge and having loner. Sidestep is still a nasty surprise and great for tying up a couple of ST3 players.

Most importantly he has hypnotic gaze with is a real game winner of a skill, not cage is safe with him able to make holes in it. Either that or blitz a hole and stick him next to the ball carrier, it takes a lot of effort to shift a ST5 block SS player and ag3 dodges fail surprisingly often.

I’d say the sure hands ghouls make better ball carriers leaving the count as roaming blitzer or hole maker with his gaze.

I also like Luthor. An Ag4 big guy? with Block and SS? Yes Please. Hypnogaze is icing on the cake.

I would say Count Luthor, hypno gaze can be game changing and its an action that can't cause a turnover from a loner. I'd assume the ball will usually be in his str4 thrower's hand so Nekbrekah isn't going to free up the ball for you very often anyway.

Either way, I'd make sure you got in a quality foul the first time that ogre went prone (and luther's gaze can free up some extra TZ for the assists). He will have a very hard time dealing with the extra strength if the ogre is gone.

Thanks for the replies

I ended up taking ramtut. i couldent resist the tri-mummy factor. In hindsight im pretty sure that the count would have been the correct choice though

I was able muscle my opponent (with help from the dice) and won 2-0. 2 of my ghouls ended up with -1MA it was a costly victory

again, thanks for the input
