Chaos Dwarves and mutations

Post by Coachbalrog »

When did BB start allowing Mutations for Chaos Dwarves? And why? Is it just because they have the word Chaos in their name, or is there something in the lore that backs it up?

The WFB fluff backs it up by saying that mutations are gifts from hashut the bull headed god of the chaos dwarfs. Look through the miniatures archives and you can see chaos dwarfs with tons of mutations, goat legs, claws and my favorite one which was a guy with a face on his chest instead of a head and tentacles. (See below)
As for when it started in BB..... I havn't a clue.

I don't have the books, but I thought Chaos Dwarves got mutations in 2nd ed? Then lost it for 3rd-LRB4 and got them again in LRB5.

I went back and checked my 2nd ed. stuff (lots of rummaging in the basement) - you guys are right, Chaos Dwarves did have mutations back then. Thanks for the answers!

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
