+ST +ST +AG Slann Lineman... now what?
Seriously. I just rolled my second +ST on a +AG Linefrog on my FUMBBL lackbox team. The guy is now totally insane. I considered, for a moment, giving him wrestle instead of the 5 ST. But then I realized how my opponents are going to soil their trousers when they see him.

So what do I do with this team-defining nightmare? (Other than protect him from Dirty Player fouls.) I suppose Block next on normal rolls. What about Frenzy or Wrestle? And what on doubles? Or what if I roll another stat boost? What should I do when I stop bragging?
I'm thinking:
Block, Sure Hands, Fend (Dodge over Sure Hands on Doubles)

He sceams cage breaker/ball stealer to me. Block is a must. Then maybe even tackle or strip ball.

Block, almost no matter what on your next roll. Maybe Dodge on doubles...but that's a heck of a piece to put block and then strip ball on. I have a S3 AG4 Slann lineman with Block and Strip Ball in my local, and he's a terror to opposing coaches.

Block then Frenzy, then laugh at all your opponents for having no answer to your freak frog.

How developed is the rest of the league? If all the opposing BCs have block and sure hands, then it makes strip ball pretty useless and lessens the value of block. Wrestle might seem a risky option, but not if your opos aren't too boot happy (but being fummbl, they probably are). But hell, he's ST5, he can take out Big Guys with an assist. Block.

What next? Win a lot of games with a completely insane player!
Block Frenzy sounds good if he lives that long.

I'm curious, by picking block over wrestle, what role do you guys see him playing?
If he's going to be leaping into cages to sack ball carriers, he's gonna get fouled anyway, why not go all out with wrestle frenzy instead of block frenzy?
I'm clueless about slann though, this is more of a question than advice.

Has to do with purposefully laying him prone. Atleast make your opponent earn it and and with str5 it wouldn't be easy. Even if he doesn'tget a knockdown he's there touching the ball carrier forcing the opponent to take action. Generally the more you force your opponent to roll the dice the better it is for you. True if you wrestle the guy down the ball is loose but there is the issue with ball retrieval. A good cage takes this into account making is unlikey to loss posession buy simply knocking over the ball carrier. With your str5 guy standing right there for the next turn you can atleast influence what happens. Prone... well. Then there's the free kick. Once again why give your opponent free opportunities to hurt a player whos a game changer?

And I thought that my ST4 skink was anything special.
The discussion about the wrestle. I have the same thing with my skink. I know I should pick wrestle but I do not like my skink on the ground. Those two times +ST upgrade players are just to nice to kick the boot in them.

It has to be block.
You put him on the ground then I am sticking in the boot first chance I get...and every chance thereafter. that player is an abomination.
Block is next no matter what you roll...even over another AG boost TBH.
Not only for the offensive properties, but defensive: when your opponent wants to shift him he's still ST5 with a TZ. Wrestle removes the TZ, and therefore lessens his PITA factor.
As it is, I'd be seriously considering just trying to get him on an island to force him to block someone of little importance or force an extra die roll and a blitz to make the most of his strength.
As a second skill, Frenzy is a solid shout, though I think I'd go with Tackle myself, or possibly Pro so he always has at least the chance of rerolling his leaps.

Block, Tackle or Frenzy on normals.
Guard or Stand Firm on Doubles.
That's what i'd do anyway. Either way though, that guys a monster.
