Grab on the sidelines

Post by TalonBay »

Two players blocking each other on the sidelines, the one throwing the block has Grab, can he push his opponent out of bounds regardless of other empty squares or is he restricted to an on-table square if one is available?

Nope.

You can only surf people when there isn't any other legal empty square left.
So using grab actually doesn't help at all since it gives you more legal empty square to move to.

However as an extra note ... you are not forced to use Grab. (this was a bug in the Cyanide game for a long time that a player with Grab could never push someone out of pounds).

But yeah .. if you meant can Grab let you automatically pick out of bounds as the push square when other free squares are available ... no you cannot.
