Finished painting the troll. I know I said I wouldn't update the thread until they're all done, but I couldn't help myself, plus it's going much slower than normal... So what the hell.

He looks vicious. That claw is definitely MB. The green crystals are pretty cool, the eyes are well done, but it's the shoulder pad that really stands out to me.

Thanks Urb. The blending on the shoulder pad doesn't really even show in the pictures... I'll get a better shot of it when it's time to take groupshots.

As great as the paintjob is on that troll I just don't like the mini (and as I stated, it has nothing to do with your awesome paintjob on it.)

I quite like the model. I wouldn't get this for an orc team, but for this one, I think it fits the bill. It's face is really nicely sculpted, ie. it was fun to to paint.

Even if it somehow reminds me of a smurf, might be the blue skin.

I've never wanted to say it but now that you have I'll second it. And I agree...the paint job is very nice, so I don't want to take anything away from it. I'll go as far as to say that I don't mind the style of the sculpt. I think it's the position the mini stands in. The posture just doesn't do it for me. The left arm is too close to the ground or something...I can't quite put my finger on it. I'll agree though that it definitely suits an underworld team best.

The contrast between the body colour and the shoulder pad really works well. Great stuff so far.
