Gobbo with Two heads, +AG still worth it

Post by Mootaz »

If you have a (Chaos Pact) Goblin that took Two Heads as the first skill and you roll +AG as the second skill, would you still take the +AG?

+AG on a goblin makes him great for TTM but on a Pact team I think I might pass the honour. And you could replicate the +AG with Extra Arms since you already have Two Heads but for the landing rolls (nevermind the passing). The gobbo will cost 100k (!) and there'll be redundancy on the dodging front which is the main thing a gobbo can do. If this is for a short term league, I'd take it. Otherwise I'd skip the +AG.

But you could have the same with Extra Arms for less TV.

Take Extra Arms and then Big hand as his next skill.

Keep him, he now pretty much ignores Diving Tackle which is nice. :)

How often do you throw him? You're basically getting two skills ("Extra Arms" and "Great at Landing") in one skill slot. If you think you would take imaginary skill "Great at Landing" after extra arms, then yes. If not, probably not.

How often would the increased AG actually help while dodging, since he has two heads already? If he's frequently entering multiple TZs, I guess that could be another factor.

Uh, Stunty. Otherwise it would be a no-brainer.

I'm agnostic on this one. 20k TV and have to take the XA track, vs. ignore PT, limit DT, and +1 on landings... could go either way. In a matching format don't bother; take a skill instead. Ditto if you weren't considering XA with him. In a league, it's a judgment call.
