Inky needs to check the sizes of Warmanchine/Hordes figs before he posts them, or at least put up a disclaimer that you need a 40mm pitch minimum.

I did say that you need stun/pron counters ;)
I have seen dire troll maulers used as snow trolls..takes effort but it works.
Smaller base, feet will overhang but you can get him on the pitch ;)

Another limited edition mini from wyrd, soon enough they will have a larger limited range then their main range, its a scare crow 'carver'.

A lot of people have talked about using scarecrows they have found as zombies and various pumkins as re-rolls or ghouls e.t.c I thought this guy would make a neat flesh golem :)

Even though its a tad big something about this minis screams bombadier to me=

Image

To be released later this year the pigapult from wyrd miniatures just needs some some wheels on the base of the catapult to be the bombadier. If he's removed from pitch just say the catapult collapsed, its not as if there isn't a fair amount of debris on the pitch to begin with. ;)

Do you play on a 60mm pitch by any chance?

Darkson, I thought you would have realised by now that any instance of me saying 'a tad large' should be replaced with 'it fracking gigantic'.

You could always put them on different bases and have the catapult at the sidelines and the gobbo on the pitch. You could also use it as a gobbo wizard.

Great idea corvidius :)

Long boring sunday, spent a fair while browsing minis so here's a nice chunky update for ya. :)

Recently ordered some shadows from otherworld miniatures, great quality minis good price and some huge blister packs
Just thought id showcase a few things here and their possible bloodbowl uses (I know a few people have allready used their owlbear and swamp creature so I won't be showing those ;) )

These are the shadows=
Image

They come in packs of two and I'm going to be using them as wights, they arrived with almost no flash or mold lines, really great single piece minis.

Some nice ghouls=
Image

I think it was £11 for them so that's not a bad price at all ,unless you are a undead fan then you have to buy two packs and save the other two minis for your necro team ;) . They are even in fantasy football-ish positions (image the one in the middle throwing a ball) but your going to need a green stuff loin cloth or something if you don't want to frighten the children.

My favorite mini in their selection, the gelatinous cube=
Image

While its ungodly expensive its still a cool mini for nerd value and would make a great BoN, there's also a varient which contains no objects and is completly clear.

There's a lot more cool stuff on their site so check them out=

Blackhat miniatures, as many of you know, make some great miniatures and for the bloodbowl community none are more welcome then their excellent range of weapon snippable halflings.

Personally I think black hat know this, check out the logo on the banner ;)

Check out the full site for miniatures ranging from superheros to haggis monsters in a variety of scales.
