what can i do with 120KGp (we team)

Post by lyannou »

Hello again :D

i have another question about we team.
So i have the same team than my last post:

2 wardancer
1 receiver
10 linemen

I have 120KGp and i don't know what to do.
Buy a 2nd reveiver, 1st Thrower or wait and bought deeprot?

Thanks for your help
Yann

I'd probably buy a second receiver.

You play 3e - so you are allowed to hire Deeproot permanently? He might be worth getting just so that you don't have to put more than two linemen on the LoS.

Certainly get a second receiver before a thrower.

How many Rerolls? If you're in a season I'd look at maybe buying either a ReRoll OR Buy an Apoth and save the cash for anothe player. A second thrower or adding a catcher wouldn't be a bad idea either.

As an elf player myself, i always like to have a thrower. So i would go with a thrower, and with the rest of the cash start saving for the treeman, or the second receiver, i would lean slightly towards the later but it depends entirely on how you play

 Mossman? Sorry, but is your catcher intentionally named after a He-Man sidekick?

It's an American joke and a poor one at that. He-Man was a popular cartoon show on television when I was growing up, and one of his sidekicks was named "Mossman". Despite being a 6 foot tall humanoid covered in bright green moss, he was supposed to be a master of disguise. If you'd like to find out more, you can follow the link below to see what he looked like. :)

Sorry to drag the discussion back to the topic, but if I were a WE player with 120 to spare I'd get a treeman (or save for one - I can't remember how much they are exactly). Possibly there are other things you could get that would be good, but I feel once a WE team has 2 WDs, reserves and an apoth get a treeman ASAP. If you wait until you're a god-team you'll find he isn't as good as all that, because other teams will already have advanced big guys, and your game play won't accommodate him. Put him in the mix fairly early and he'll make a big difference, plus he might even get a few SPPs as well.
I know he only turns up for the first half half the time, but I'd still get one to take some of the pressure off you in the second half. I mean at least when he is there he's reliable, and not some WA that causes you turnovers all the time!
