Fourth non-double on a necro ghoul

Post by swilhelm73 »

I just got a regular skill up on my ghoul, and I'm pondering what to take. I'm leaning towards KOR as my offense is normally letting her retrieve the ball, drive up the field behind a cage or screens, and either score or hand off to someone in scoring position. On defense she normally plays corner back behind the SF Wight in a Ziggaraut or modified Ziggaraut.

FG: Block, Guard
FG: +ST, Block, Guard
Wight: +AG, +AG, Guard, Dodge
Wight: +AG, MB, Guard, Tackle, SF
WW: Block, Dodge, MB, PO, SS
WW: Block, Dodge, MB, Dauntless, Tackle
GH: Block, SH, SS, Regular Skill
GH: Regular Skill
Zx2: Wrestle
Zx4: Rookie
4 RR

On the other ghoul I'm going to take wrestle and turn her into a wrackler.

My division is Chaos, Nurgle (already played our games), WE, Vamp, Zon. The WE team and I are in a battle for first place and don't play for a while.

Fend? Tackle? Jump Up?

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

Id vote fend, goes well with SS to give you more mobility.

also stops frenzy and PO, so gives a little protection as well.

+1 for Fend, for the combination with Sidestep, because that guy's gonna get hit.

Diving tackle combines well with SS and would be useful vs zons, woodies and vamps.

As your lone ball-carrier, he's bound to get hit, and AG3 sucks for dodging anyway, so Fend would be a good idea.

However, you don't have anyone with Diving Tackle. Sidestepping blodger ghouls with that would be the right tool for keeping elves honest. So consider having ghouls fill that role in some capacity.

Same for me.
And SS+Fend is also useful for setting up crowd-surfing traps.

I usually go Fend right after block as a third skill.... Fend!
