Well a good night last night and a late start today means I have 7 models painted (not based) 3 part painted and 1 requiring further conversion....

You know, I might actually make it!

I think that might be the best place for hakflem, somewhere where he's not likely to squish... :)

I had great plans for my team. Do all the squad, pick the best ones. got a plastic gobbo regiment for some 'staff' models, re-roll counters etc. So now taking into account other engagements, I have 7 days left, and only 4 finished models, and 8 in various stages of woeful incompleteness. Something's gone horribly horribly wrong with my planning. i can see some of those late nights coming up - and getting to sleep in the shed for my efforts...

I've spent the last month stripping and repainting my Chaos Dwarf team. As of last night I have all six Chaos Dwarfs and seven hobgoblins finished and based. All that's left is one hobgob, both BCs, head coach, apothecary, score counter, and three cheerleaders. I doubt I'll have them all finished in time but hopefully just enough to take to the tourney.

Heh as long as you get the team gifures painted. Just doing the skin on the chaos dwarfs, but it looks a bit poo. Have to do some more work on it. The slow rate i am going though doesn't look like i will be having the time to highlight the minis properly.

I'm just casually taking my time painting my Norse team for the 2004 Blood Bowl Tournament... :P

I am just applying one single brush stroke to each player each day....

For some reason I was thinking it was at the end of March, not the beginning.

I have a lot of painting to do and no time or skill to get it done.

Heh, as a non-painter I swapped some IG figures for my mates painted Skaven team. Another mate got me some Plague Monks for an Xmas pressie, and offered to paint them. Just need to flock 'em and that's my coaching staff/ cheerleaders all done. Just need to glue the chain to the Rat Orge's nose (actually an old chaos troll, but it looks ratty) and give it to a plague monk for the team mascot, and I'm all done.

Wonder if I can get my plastic Norse painted in time to represent me :?:

I ended painting my Silibili mini last sunday. I spent near 12 hours painting it... the result is quite good, but need to improve a lot...
Now I have recently painted:
3 sauruses
1 silibili (captain of my team)
1 coach (almost finished)

And old painted:
1 krox
2 sauruses
4 skinks

I'd like to repaint skinks and krox, no time for fan or cheerleader converting nor apoth :-? :-? Image

who knows, maybe in 2004 you'll remember to buy a ticket in time and not have to beg GW to let you in the back door....

Further testing:
My Dwarfs (no stars) vs Grumbledook's CDs (with hthark AND grashnack...).
1-0 to my boys thanks to a few timely cas, including Hthark showing that he is in fact stoppable.

Frighteningly, a very even game all things considered.
Moral of the story : Having stars does not buy you victory. They can roll 1s as well as a normal player.

and there IS hope for those of us without great big cheesey beards.
