Does certain races evolve into unbeatable?

The FUMBBL stats that JimmyFantastic put up? I believe they are FUMBBL black box (perpertual TV MM league). The % is the win percentage too, rather than a record - so just percentage of games that are won, not wins + draws / 2. Which makes the 60+% figures very very good.

My understanding is that the reason for that is that a lot of the higher TV elven teams get parked and only come out to play for tournaments, and consequentially the proportion of games against elven teams is low and hence bashier teams tend to develop towards anti-bash rather than anti-flair - making the win rate higher for flair teams.

Sorry about that...I corrected the calculations . The ones that are there now are wins + draws*0.5, so 60% isn't quite as good! (though still impressive)

Why is it so few games been played at TV over 2000? Some teams in my league will start to become battered at this level, i need to hinder this from happening. What's Norses and Undeads biggest setback at this stage? We seriously need to avoid having our Dark Elves playing at 60 percent from TV 1800 and up, they just get stronger and stronger the more we play.

The only thing you need to do to make sure Elves don't dominate the top at big (2000+) TV's is to play more often against them...

Inevitably they will hit the point where they run out of cash and lose one or two key players, at this point the team is so out of balance that it will start to lose more.

Undead (and most AV 9 teams) will always have money banked and lose less players (this is why they have that cash), so even though they might not get the same 'peak' values as elves, they will have a more consistent team at high TV's. Norse and Amazons... well they're just S.O.L. at that level

Because people stop playing the teams...

I suspect one of the main motivations is that the team will have a bad game and lose one or more "star" players - and the coach will decide they'd rather start again than rebuild the team.

I don't know about anybody else, but I get really bored of playing the same team for more than 2 season. Unless you're on fire it's hard to get much over 2000 TV in that time. (depending on season length)
