Golden football, Unsung heros, lard is our champion!

Post by inkpwn »

Brage97 was our december champion and he has picked our next challenge, lineman! Non stunty 0-16 players are the only ones allowed in!
So dust of your brushes and find your line fodder its time for those lesser appreciated pieces to shine!
Deadline for this one is March first, so that's six weeks to buy, convert, clean and paint your mini. :)
Just don't forget januarys stunty stampede. ;)

Some lovely entrys this month, lets get to voting!

Good call on linemen - you can always use one on one team or another. :)

@Nazgob, thanks for the correction.

That's the thing, we were going to do the complete list of topics I carved out when the contest started so this topic had to come at some point. The votes not returning without some sort of mass appeal, do you not believe that the ability to choose a months topic is a suitable reward for winning?
Take this as a opportunity to paint a fouling guy, a leaping slann, a tackling dwarf, a hunched hobgoblin,a charging beastmen, heck they could even be injured give him a crutch and a niggling injury. Go nuts, there's no reason for this topic to be anyless exciting than the others.

I've started painting up four linos for my orc team but I'm not near finished yet.

What's going on with January's vote on stunties?

This will be fun!

Next in line after my Ogre team (and stunty Golden Football application for January) is my planned Lo-Fi themed Dark Elves. The DE lineelf probably wont get any votes because it will be very plain, but will be a great motivator for my schedule to finish these two teams instead.

Still have a lot of work to do for the Snotlings and Ogres though.

btw:
Does anyone have the old GW Night Goblin blister with mushroom bits in spare?

TFF: ... would like advice on GW minis suitable for sideline conversion.
Warseer: ... is converting and painting an Ogres blood bowl team at the moment. Next in line is a lo-fi themed Dark Elves team and then Norse.

Here's my unsung hero; Sir Stomp-a-Lot.

Yes, yes, it's a kicker miniature but since no such things as kickers exist anymore he's a dirty player lino on my team. :smoking:
