5-Dudukian (Lineman)
6-Edalat (Lineman) - Block
7-Ehiil (Lineman) - Kick
8-Ereod (Lineman)
9-Mbicusal (Catcher) - Catch
10-Kacidhor (Lineman) - Guard
11-Kunet (Lineman) - Guard
12-Mereluseg (Catcher) - Catch, Dodge
13-Moprysc (Catcher) - Catch

3 Rerolls

As much as its boring, I'd go guard once again. Elf teams with lots of guard are nightmares, and elves don't always live so you never know when you'll run low. Otherwise its mighty blow for a little hitting power.

I think you have to go Mighty Blow. Even an elf team needs to make the other side feel threatened.

I'd take Mighty Blow, just because you've got 4 guard already :)

Guard then leap. I have an 8358 Guard blodge leap DE blitzer and the ability to put guard assists just about anywhere is awesome.

If you haven't had so much guard already, it would have been easy... But now I'd probably go with leap and forget about the double. With 4 guards you don't really need more and AG5 screams leap.

+1.

Doubleskulls...you can never have enough Guard! :D. I once specced one of PeteW's WIL teams, which had 7 guards on a woodie team. It was stupidly good :D

Your team has no tackle so I could see MB to help him skill up quicker and then tackle to make him great for taking out other agile players.

AG5, Leap Guards are great but you also need a 2nd leaper or AG5 guy to get in and hit the ball carrier too. Ideally someone with wrestle, tackle and strip ball.

Something like this works: http://i1013.photobucket.com/albums/af2 ... arHera.png (sadly -MA now, but still playing) ;)
Her, plus said blitzer, plus Eldril, have successfully plucked the ball from the middle of a 4-BOB cage, and from a mass of Dwarves - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4rE3T1- ... oSQ1bospCE
Leapers are a real threat to most offences, and force the opponent to play very differently and cover far more angles. A leaping guard threat combined with another leaper and decent movement can thoroughly ruin a player's plans and forces deeper defence. The aforementioned blitzer scored 3 times in a game last night against WE by leaping the front lines and threatening the BC. A failed pickup, a missed pass, a failed GFI - any of these can result in a defensive score, and at the very least it can force the opponent to use his blitz on your leaper where he would otherwise want to use it in trying to advance his offence.

I'm of the mindset that Mighty Blow is one of the most overrated skills in the game* (*I realize how good it is coupled with Claw and PO, let's not have yet another Clawpomb derailment).

I'm definitely of the mindset that Mighty Blow is next to pointless on an Elf team. Your goal is not player removal. Your goal is to become scary enough on defense to steal the ball and score. Guard will go further than anything else for doing that. A High Elf team with that much Guard? I'd be terrified! They can win a blocking war against just about any other faction, given their mobility and easy access to eventual and near team-wide Blodge.

In a recent league I had a similar High Elf team that was blessed with some Guard (3 pieces), and they ran away with the whole thing pretty quickly, losing only a single match (in OT) to a Human team that had an amazing 8 or 9 Guard, haha. Couldn't imagine what HEs could do with 5 Guard.

Rogue, that's what I see the most...one of our friendly statisticians always makes the same mistake. The idea of MB on an elf team is *not* player removal, it's player stunning. Elves play like daggers, when you do a blitz, it's to put a specific target that you want down on the ground so he can't threaten you next turn. MB aids in the chance of that becoming multi-turn. You don't want to be spamming MB...but on a dedicated blitzer, it can really make a difference. A stun with MB is still a win for elves, as they can exploit holes in position far better than anyone.

Look at it this way. If your blitzer always hits and retreats behind a wall, he should never need guard. Every time he does a blitz, he could use MB.

That said, I still think that this guy is best suited to the bouncing guard role. With the +ag, I don't really see him as a blitzer, more of a mobile ballpickeruper or assister. A blitzer with MB really wants tackle as well, and ag 5 on a remover isn't really as useful.
