Dear oh dear, these figures continue to be more massaged than Gavin on two for one night. It's like Statto with black and white tinted specs!

Re: Official Monkeybowl Tribes Sledging Thread
The Monkeybowl draws ever closer and the tribes begin to gather. Your own tribe has already spent weeks travelling. You do not know why you take part in this migration, only that you must. As you draw closer you sense that your journey is near an end. The path has become clearer, the route more well trodden - others have come this way. You make camp.
Darkness falls.
A sound falls across the valley, a rumble of thunder. Suddenly you hear the sounds of a rival tribe. A voice, distant but powerful. You do not understand the words but the meaning is clear.
You are afraid.
Men of the Tribe, Men of the Swim Team
I do not propose to say many words tonight.
Men.
For the past two years we have endured the sour flavour of second place and have every reason to consider ourselves unfortunate. Yet today I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth. I have been in bloodbowl for nine years and never before have I seen such a tribe!
Look at these grand men. Which of you wouldn’t consider it the highlight of his career to associate with them for even one day?
Yes, I am lucky. Who wouldn’t consider it an honor to have known Purp-le-goo – international superstar and big man of the WIL, Podfrey Porrit – world champion and father, and Barney – very much the nicest man you could meet and not lacking for it! I believe that in the history of the world, there has not been a more genuinely worthy tribe than ours.
Yes, I am lucky. For I have a dream!
A tribe must be strong and vigorous; it must be a tribe of good fighters and good breeders, else its wisdom will come to naught and its virtue be ineffective; and no sweetness and delicacy, no love for and appreciation of beauty in art or literature, no capacity for building up material prosperity can possibly atone for the lack of the great virile virtues.
That is why we shall win. We shall fight on the beaches. We shall fight on the pitch. We shall fight their monkeys and their mayors. We shall defend our pride, whatever the cost may be. Oh yes I have a dream!
When I consider the magnitude of the subject which I bring before the Tribe - a subject, in which the interests, not of this country, nor of Europe alone, but of the whole world, and of posterity, are involved: and when I think, at the same time, on the humility of the captain who has undertaken this great cause - when these reflections press upon my mind, it is impossible for me not to feel both terrified and concerned at my own adequacy to such a task.
Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, ‘This was their finest hour.’
It now only remains for us to set our teeth and to enter upon this struggle.
... Duncan shivers a little in spite of the warmth. You hear no more until sunrise.

Victim of the Colonel's car boot smash. First person to use Glynn's bath.
Update: the Hartlepool family Glynn now has a virgin bath.
Barney is a clever dog.

Now your honour, I realise I'm just a simple Geordie, and all of us makes mistakes. It appears I slightly overestimated the number of times we've beaten this ginger stepchild, but the facts speak for themselves and we are indeed 10/5/5 up on Mr Goo...

Never let it be said that we aren't over egging a tournament just a tiny amount.
Flaming time rich nerds, I'll be fed up of the thing by Saturday!
(Edit) Dear oh dear. Oh dear. The nonsense some people will cling to.

Excuses already!!! While his own captain is giving encouraging (rambling) speeches, the members of the Swim Team fall apart as expected and start to give reasons why they won't perform!

Any idea where the inspriation for this song may have come from...?
MY FRIEND GOO
"I know a secret or two about Goo
she won't mind if I tell you
she likes to wear green underwear"
She? Green Underwear? Anything you want to share with us Phil...?

If you're coming onto me, I at least want dinner. And preferably Stan. No offence.

Well the title of the thread does not state who you are and are not allowed to sledge.

Well it looks like the swim team has lost it's life preserver and could well drown as the new team cap doesnt have a team painted. Your pep talk is starting to look like desperate words from a very desperate man Sodamizer.
As i said last year... PBB, our actions will speak louder than words. You have been warned
