I've got my Chaos against a DE squad tonite, both around 2000tv.
My opponent only has one guard player, and no MB or +ST players.
This raises the possibility then of putting my CWs and Mino on the D line.
MN: Claw, Block, Guard, Tents
CW: Block, Guard, SF
CW Block, Guard
Usually I put BMs on the line, but...this might be a case where I could aggressively take advantage of my higher ST.
My other two CWs are rookies, so I was considering putting them on the sideline wings.
Thoughts?

Re: Who to put on the D line
CWs would be good, not the mino-those tentacles should be tying up someone who breaks your line, not wasted on some line schmo.
But if he's at 200TV, he "should" have some guards of his own, if so and he can get some 2d blocks on your CWs, i'd keep them off the los.
Don't give his witches the chance to surf you, even at 2d against.

Re: Who to put on the D line
Meh, ended up losing the game 2-1.
Bulking the line up with the Mino and the Guard CWs actually worked well. He generally only left one player between his thrower and my mino, so a couple of times I blitzed into his backfield and got my mino next to the thrower. But each time he was able to throw it over the mino or dodge away (6/7 on tentacle rolls!).
A very disappointing game overall. I had the opportunity to tie before the half if I could make a 2+, 3+, but I failed the 2+ (had to RR a double skull earlier) and he was able to to score. And then I had the chance to tie on T16 with a 2D block, a 3+ pickup and 2 GFIs. I failed the pick up and failed the RR to end the game.

I hate when that happens. Especially if it's an otherwise great game.swilhelm73 wrote:I failed the pick up and failed the RR to end the game.
