The Beast is a Loner, thus dodging with a certain re-roll (from the Dodge skill) is very appealing compared to being forced to burn a team RR. For a simple dodge this is a 1/36 chance of failure compared to a 7/72 chance of failure (3.5 times worse). Even when dodging into a standard cage (3 TZs), Dodge allows you to re-roll a 4+ for a 3/4 chance, compared to a single roll at 3+ (2-Heads) for a 2/3 chance. Even with a team re-roll in hand, the 2-Heads option rises to only 7/9, barely above 3/4. Taking into account the availability of the team re-roll, and whether you want to use it, Dodge is in practice better. Plus, of course, it protects the Beast when he is being blocked - few players of ST4 or higher have Tackle.dode74 wrote:I have to ask: why? Would 2 heads not have been a better choice for this?Chris wrote:The beast has had a good run, no injuries and has now got in order of award stand firm, guard, break tackle, block and another double.
For a 3rd double on the Beast, I am inclined to consider Pro, to keep his Tentacles alive.
Hope that helps.
