What kind of helmets for my Zons?

I am painting these horrible OP Zons for a TT tournament, what helmet looks best in terms of them being a team?

Yeah I know the paint job sux but I want them painted ASAP.

I like the gold, but that could be reserved for blitzers/ positions only.

diffrent colors on diffrent possisions would be my vote as both bone and gold looks good.

I'm with Doova on this one. Thinking bone would be good for linos and the gold could be used for blitzers to set them apart.

I've painted my Amazons with dark skin too - I gave them all bone coloured helmets and lots of gold on the metalwork. I opted to paint their headress feathers in different colours to help differentiate between the positions - and coloured the base rings to match.

The figures look good, I would recommend using this combination

Scorched brown
Highlight with snakebite leather and then use bleached bone. Final highlight with white

It's a bit lengthy but looks really good alternately paint bleached bone and then wash with a dark ink and then highlight again with bleached bone.

I used black then chocolate brown highlighted with leather brown. Then gloss varnish.

Wow I didn't think so many people would respond, thanks for the feedback!
I am doing different feathers for the positionals so looking for a uniform helmet.
Skull colour really does look to have won by a mile now, cheers.
