I think Kalimar fits into the "do it right the first time" camp ;)

It also makes perfect sense to allow Pass Block for HMP. I see Pass Block representing an ability to read the offense and quickly spot when the opposing team is going for a pass attempt. An HMP pass even takes longer in the air most likely.

But when rules lawyering comes in, all such issues lose relevance. :)

Allowing PB on a HMP also allows the non-throwing team the ideal oppotunity to move next to the HMP player, so that can smack them next turn, especially if it's a stunty player.

I find this ironic. If I mention PB eveyone goes and has a hissy fit. Here we are discussing PB and no one is lamenting it's a waster fo a skill.

well now that we all realize it can be used versus pass block I think we're going to see a lot more players taking it

For what its worth I agree with Galak & Dode. PB would allow you to move adjacent to the thrower or to an empty target square.

If the square is occupied however I'm not sure PB could be used by the wording, but the spirit and intent would allow it for me.

Yeah, but the discussion here is about implementing it in a client. That should be done properly.
However, I doubt that the client will see much use of HMP though. Unless you will use it ;).

To recap, I still find it a waste of a skill, but you obviously dont. So, more power to you :).
I say, carry on... :D

Can we not just make the client force both teams to concede and the offending players with HMP and passblock be retired?

That would solve the problem. :D

Passblock does suck but Eldril sees a fair amount of play.
