As someone who enjoys playing Dark Elves, I really hate playing against a chainsaw when my opponent wins the toss. Invariably I end up trying to decide between going for the ball or going for the chainsaw weilding maniac that's ripping apart my team. It's definately important to protect him though. The fact that using it ends your movement on a blitz means extra thought is required. I'd probably switch from blitzing to fouling with him the last 2 or 3 turns of the half since he is going to get kicked off without a bribe anyway.
However, none of the above is good to you if it doesn't work with your style. Also, are there any limitations on star players? Most Trophy matches I've played in don't allow merc or star player inducements.

Thats a tough one for you... No apparant weakness on his team. Think your best bet is blitzing with your mb wolf and hoping to make an impact. Had a similar dark elf team in a tt league and inducements wasn't really too much of a worry. My only nemesis was a skaven team which managed to outcas me badly while being faster and constantly threatening the ball with gutters.
As dark elves a wizard isn't the greatest threat as they are pretty able to recover - yes you can force him to score in T7 instead of 8 and hope for a two turn TD, but that might be easier said than done against all blodge.
You would rather blitz with your mb wolf than the chainsaw, so he might be a bit of a waste unless you take a bribe and foul anyone you get down.

I can't offer any advice - my record against dark elves is one win from 20 games (and that was playing as them'ummiecoach2010 wrote:The inducements come in at 610K and last time I used Chaney and Hack Enslash. The chainsaw was useless, kept getting hit and eventually killed himself.

I'm quite surprised to see that no-one posted about a Merc with Tackle? Sure you don't want to pay for Block on the guy but you REALLY need tackle vs this team.
I play myself Dark Elves and I can tell: you will fail that dodge once and putting the pressure on can make the difference. I would simply pick a Merc Zombie with tackle.
For the rest try to lure him into the side-line and try to crowd push stuff. You should have the perfect defence vs retaliation with your Golem's (with their SF).
Other than that: keep blitzing with your Wolves on anything that wants to break trough your line. Keep your zombies in the right positions because they are your weak point. Delves will try to out-position you be simply switching side and locking some zombies at the right moment so that your defence will fall apart.
On your offence you should play the boring grind them into the ground game. Sadly this is the only way: never, ever expose the ball unless it is a trap to get one of is key playing into position for a gang-foul.
So yes I think at least 1 bribe, one Tackle Zombie, one Babe (since KO can be worse than Regenation) and what rest you can spend as you feel like it.
