We had another game that didn't go our way: 5 CAS in the first 5 turns against and from then on it was uphill all the way. My opponent was lucky to remove my Merc Blitzer with tackle on a foul. And with only CAS coming in I didn't have much value from my two Babes. I even rolled a 1 on the first KO roll I was able to make. Only until the last half we weren't able to hurt any Skinks. By then I had only about 6 players on the field.
So basically I'm looking for advice on what skill to take on #5 witch: go Side-Step for safety or Tackle to be able to do some damage vs my next opponent: Skaven team which is leading our league... I believe most teams are too much developed to pick strip ball now and since I'm getting so many CAS in I would rather build in more safety with Side Step. On the other hand with only 1 tackler in the team and the team after are the Pro elves with lots of dodge. So now I'm more inclined towards Tackle...
Thanks for your input.

Sidestep makes a big improvement to your sideline threat and combos nicely with Jump Up too (because people will be afraid that if they knock you down you'll just go somewhere really annoying and jump up and whack them next turn).

We just had a good revenge match vs the Skaven team. We won 3-2 but they didn't really had the chance for winning the game: in the first half he failed epically in two turns which gave me the defensive score AND 2-3 CAS. Sadly we received 3 CAS in return but I'm not going to complaint it anymore since I received 3 CAS and only 1 KO and maybe 3 Stuns whole the game. It is clear that this team is doomed by Khaine. The only thing I can do is sacrifice my newborn son (joke
).
I do need you advice on the next buy for this team: I still have to play vs Necro's with a Star Wolf (AG4, MB, dodge, block) and a developed Flesh Golem and two Dodge Wights. After that there is the Lizzies team (how they beated me is still a miracle) I just couldn't bring on any pain and he only rolled armour breaks [it seems to help if you break up with your girl
]. Last game is vs the Orcs with 2x ST4 blitzers. Luckily that coach rolls that much double skills that he doesn't have tackle yet,... but I'm worried about after three games...
Anyway I'm looking now if I should invest in RR (this seems most logical as it doesn't die and bring a small TV bloat but make the whole team better), second Runner, adds more speed and could give me the NoS combo to have more passing and running threat or just an extra linemen to replace knocked off players. Given the 26 CAS I suffered in 6 games this season is maybe not a unrealistic need with only 11 players on the roster ATM. It seems like I can't shake off the 2x MNG...
Thank you for your wisdom and comments.
BTW: did I tell you? I couldn't be more happy with the +ST on the Witch, just perfect

The team is going quite well with a W/L/D of 4/4/0 this season so far and one game left. Especially if you take in account the TD diff: -2, CAS diff: -17.
My next game is vs the Orcs, which are last in the league but do have two ST4 blitzers. So that is a hell of a lot of strength I'll be facing. Luckily their coach throws a lot of double rolls on skills so they are still a little low on guard
What would you advice me to do with the 120k in treasure, keeping in mind that there will be also play-offs afterwards.
1. Sit on the cash to make sure I can replace any (inevitable) casualties
2. Foresee replacement by buying another Lineman, to offer to the LoS
3. By the second runner, to develop a stronger Offense
4. Your suggestion
Me personal preference lies in option 2: currently I only have 3 LoS Lineman and I'm not really fan of putting a Blitzer there, nor the Assassin.
Option 3 sound appealing but is a little too much since offence doesn't really need a boost vs current teams.

Re: Where to go with this DE lot?
Hmm, nice lot. First things first, I'd fire the -AV Lineman. I don't like to add to the AV7 quotient on Darkies. I'd prolly hang around 13 players myself, 14 max. I'd sit on the cash for now too (I always want to be able to replace a Blitzer or Witch Elf if the worst happens) and while I don't necessarily like having two Runners or Assassins at all (depending on the composition of your league however), since you got Multiple Block on the Assassin I think he is a keeper and two Runners isn't bad per se if you want to have them for different uses (I just like to keep it leaner and again, to keep the AV7 part of the team smaller).
I can see the problem with the LOS Linemen, though. Your team just faces bloat because of it too. Still, it's not like you're going to say no to Guard Linemen when they happen.

Re: Where to go with this DE lot?
I'd keep the team at 13 players but replace the -AV lineman. If you had more spare cash I'd also be tempted to replace the -AG one. It's annoying not to be able to easily reposition by 2+ dodging.
