6+6 on Block Mummy
A mummy on my Undead team in TV-based MM rolled 6+6. Already has (Block, Guard, SF).
Should I take +ST or Dodge (or something else altogether)?
I already have a (Blodge, SF, Guard) Wight. Other mummy has (Guard, SF, Break Tackle). Rest is standard fare.

Uh....yeah. You've already got block. Dodge would annoy your opponents but ST6 block will out right scare them. I agree with the spy...multi-block next and you've got a nightmare on your hands.

Jump Up would be really good on any other double, but obv take +ST.

Re: 6+6 on Block Mummy
I don’t think there are that many amazing doubles choices for mummies after block so I’d take the strength.
Dodge is quite nice, especially if he has BT but not that useful with his low MA, the same with tackle as he has to actually catch a player with dodge to be able to use it. Frenzy is an option too but can get even a ST5 mummy into trouble if the rest of your team lacks guard and again is less useful on blitz’s with his low MA.

Dodge. How many high strength players have tackle? If he gets to his (or her) next skill break tackle means he can dodge into 3 tacklezones 75% of the time. You can't leave a cage anywhere near such a player! With 5 other dodge players as well I find dodge increases in protective ability the more you have. And if tacklers are massing to take him down they aren't hitting ghouls.
Str is the 2nd choice. It is easier to use when attacking and does make him harder to block, even for other big guys. Against str 3 teams you can put him on the los without worrying about getting 2 dice blocked!
Of course if you were in a dodge heavy league tackle is a serious contender.

Re: 6+6 on Block Mummy
If you want a slightly crazy, out-of-the-box skill pick, go with jump up or side step.
JU will mean if he does end up down, he can get up and move. And he can go for PO next for a little extra death-dealing.
Sidestep is just fun (I put it on a tentacled minotaur once for giggles, he was awesome), but possibly not ideal when you've already got stand firm.
Alternatively, just go with +ST, anything else is probably a waste.
