I couldn't find the sarcasm font.

I really don't mind that much, initial reaction is that he shouldn't move, but it's not life or death.

The physics was inspired by some of the other bizarre justifications flying about on threads. Didn't know if anyone would rise to it.
You've got to be an ar5ehole every now and then....

If you want to burn your blitz to try a dodge with your WA ... more power to you ... even if you're WA has Stand Firm it cost you your blitz which is usually worth the price of admission.
If i played by those rules and my stand firm minotaur had to make a 2-dice against block, you can be sure that i'd dodge out, come back, dodge out, come back until i fail to avoid the block. Another situation were you'd rather fail. Those should never appear in the game, ever. At least if you rule that way, make it a turnover if he doesn't complete the block.

I totally agree with the spirit of the law arguments, but fail to see how they fit with the letter of the law. You can't argue spirit of the law here, since none of us are judges, really. Except for those here who are league commishes or on the BBRC.

You can't be certain that you will make the block if you dodge out first.

That is, you can not ensure that you comply with the rule* if you dodge out first.

Therefore, to comply with the rule, you may not dodge out first.

*"In addition, if a standing Wild Animal is adjacent to a standing player from the opposing team then they must (take either a Block or Blitz action, and) throw a block at an adjacent player" (Parentheses added).

Sorry but reading the rules it's clear!
If yoru standing next to them you hit first, before anything else, that's what a wild animal does, when it says you can blitz it also clearly means you can hit them and run off somewhere else if you please!
Dodging out and blitzing back, okay it's fair enough that you've decided to risk a dodge roll, but quite frankly you LOOKING for technicalities!
Get out of my house! :smoking:
