Introduction

Post by BlanchPrez »

Hey all!

I'm new to TBB, though some of you might recognize me from the NAF boards.

As a matter of introduction, I was first introduced to BB through a second edition game I bought at a yard sale years ago (before 3rd was out). I loved the game (still have the pitch and dougout, as well as many of the figures), but I couldn't get any of my friends to play it. Then, I got back into it briefly when 3ed was re-released in the "slimmer, sleaker" box. I played in a league that managed to get through one season of play before the gaming group slip up due to moves, etc. Now, with the release of the "2002 edition," I got back into it, have the LRB, and joined the NAF. I got my gaming group into playing, and am even working on trying to get a tourny started here in San Diego at the Comic Con (though I'm not having much luck at the moment).

I've played humans, wood elves, undead, dwarves and orcs, though I am currently playing dwarves.

I think that pretty much covers it, any other questions, you can ask. I may even answer.

5? What if I've already lost that amount of time a day to BB? More even! That's why I signed up here, I figured I might as well go all the way. :D

If you can't find games at home, try the skijunkie javabowl client, or the PBeM (play by email) program that Galak has. I play javabowl, but both are great from what I hear.

Welcome to TBB. Have fun :D

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

I would insert my normal witty remark and Mad Doc laugh here, but I get accused of spamming  , so I'll just leave it at this.

Welcome, and hope you enjoy yourself.

Hiya BP! (And how can you have problems finding BB players in San Diego when there are already 10 players in a medieval swamp village like Nijmegen?!?!?!?)
