Bloodbowl Carry Cases

Post by MunkeyKungFu »

Partially a shameless self plug but I recently did a review / spotlight on the KR Aquilla 4 case that in my opinion is a perfect case for us blood bowl coaches.

Well funny you mention that, but you can win one at the Gert Bowl next weekend.

Just bring your A-Game and hope for the best

Looks good - I've been looking into getting one of these, but wasn't sure if the A4 would fit a pitch (I was told by a KR sales-person it wouldn't, but I think they meant inside rather than in the pouch).

Just out of interest, what trays have you got inside (if you can remember the letter codes)? I need something that can carry some big guys, since I'll be taking goblins next season and have some Pact and Nurgle on the painting table next...

Thanks for that - I'm looking at getting a case for my birthday, and wasn't completely sure which one I'd need (despite spending a fair amount of time at their stand at Salute) - that's perfect for what I need. :D

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Orcs are in F4H (The Tray thats empty)
Accessories M4H (Would be perfect for Gobbos)
Chaos N4H
Nuns M4H

When you have 40mm Bases you can fit them in the half cases as the overhang is not too back but My panda is on a 50mm base which is way too big and I have pinned it to the base so it can be removed for storage.

I recently picked up an A3. I'm incredibly pleased with it, and really I think every Blood Bowl coach who travels with their pitch could probably benefit from this case. Sure beats carrying the pitch and dugouts loose or carrying everything in the BB Box.

And really, the prices are very reasonable given how much GW Cases and Battlefoam cases cost.

Oh definitely, the thing I love about KR as well is thAt they are always compatible with the rest of their range so if I want to pack 3-4 different game systems I can just grab the appropriate trays.

Of course buying all your trays as the half ones really does help.

If none ever wants advise on anything in the KR range let me know as what few bits of the range I don't own I still know about if rhymes sense lol

I've got a KR one as well (apart from my cusom made (read: adapted toolbox) one). I love the fact that I can just pack away a team and will only need to print out the roster when leaving .. no big case to carry around.

I will buy a few more in teh (near) future to get more teams stored in that way

Well, my case arrived at the end of last week, and has been mostly filled already :P Haven't taken it out yet but can definitely recommend the KR service!

I can't remember now if I went for 2xM and 1xN, or the other way around, but those ones were perfect for my chaos, high elves, and pro elves. The F tray is currently empty, its a bit too big for the figures I've got painted now, but when I get around to doing my 2nd edition ogre team - and finishing off my chaos pact (also using 2nd ed) it will be perfect... plus it can take my dice + tokens in the meantime.

Am now very tempted to buy a bigger case, or just a bunch more trays, for storing things at home...

Here's an idea for a case manufacturer out there. I want a Blood Bowl carrying case that is in the shape of a spiked football and, when opened out, comes into two halves, one of which can be used as a display base for the team and the other as a dice rolling area. Would be awesomesauce!
