thanks Heff, I looked at the Bones section of the website but didn't see it.. I think if you snipped the base off (much easier with bones rubbery type plastic than with metal) you could almost have the mini in mid-air, as though swooping down to deliver death..

on a practical note, also allows you to put him on a smaller base..

OK everyone, here is where my thinking currently stands. Keep in mind this is still total spitballing and I am loving the ideas thrown around, even if it's not the one that I pick (you can always make your own owlbear  ).

Bodies
Option 1: Impact! Werebear for the body. Pros: Already suited up for FF, close body type to what I want, minimal cutting involved. Cons: Will have to GS alot of feathers, not a huge fan of the right arm positioning but that's minor.

Option 2: Owlbear Rager. Pros: Really like the style of the body and arms, all it needs is a head swap possible arm repositioning and GS football gear. Cons: Don't like the face so I will have to replace that

Option 3: The Otherworld Owlbear Pros: Good miniature, just needs to have head swap. Cons: no feathers on the arms, will have to head swap.

Option 4: Maybe a bit too out of the box thinking, GW Clawed Fiend or Vampies Vargulf. These would require alot of green stuffing and I have no idea if the size would be compatible.

Heads
Option 1: Decapitate the owlhead, then do some green stuff to add a bit of ferocity by way of "owl eyebrows" (don't know what they are really, but you know what I'm talking about...) and possibly a larger/open beak

Option 2: Use one of these reaper heads straight up:

So that's my current line of thinking. I would love some more critique/feedback/ideas. What would YOU use?

The GW clawed fiend body with the reaper head 1 would look awesome. Size wise I think it'd work. Looking at google images it looks about 5 cm tall or so.

Plenty of other good choices though.
