Custom dugouts.
Recently i've been looking at this custom dugout http://hirstarts.yuku.com/topic/3703, and thinking how much I'd like something similar.
So I was hoping for some inspiration.
Anyone else got a cool/unique dugout (2D or 3D) that'd like to post a picture of so the rest of us can "ooh" and "ahh" at them?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. Many a time I've mooned over the stadia in that thread. How about entire Stadia? for starters
For this thread, I was thinking more of stand alone dugouts, not ones intergrated into a pitch.

Here is my most recent stand alone dugout, with an egyptian theme. Sorry it's a bit dark, the photos were a bit rushed and my camera phone doesn't have a flash.

Jamie, who runs the 4Diamonds tourney, makes and raffles off a custom dug-out each year.. his are especially cool because they also hold a complete team of minis inside the "body" behind the dugout itself.. super sweet!!

Here the Lyricoz ones:
http://bloodbowlstadium.over-blog.com/a ... 90980.html
he did 3 for now, 1 chaos swarf, 1 orc and 1 kemrhi. Best dug out i ever seen, he managed to enter the full roster, all the needed counters (turn marker, score, weather, FF, etc...) in a single mallet so it can be easilly carried.

I build a dugout 2004 using Hirstarts molds, too.
Here some picts of "the making of".
BTW...It was good enough to win me the "Best dugout award "at the DungeonBowl 2006.
EDIT: Just klicked the link at the first post. Yep, i remember pyttroll asking me about some information, but i cant remember seeing his finished project with the detail picts. Great work!! THX for the link!

Re: Custom dugouts.
I'm 1/3 the way through casting and assembling a stadium at 40mm (actually 1.5 inches). Its a very fun but long process.
Some things I'd strongly recommend are to not start assembly until you have all or almost all the blocks cast, be sure to use a strong dental plaster as they will see some abuse over time, and take some time to carefully plan your design.
Take the time to sand your blocks and use guides to keep everything straight and true. Assembling 'by eye' will inevitably lead to gaps and 'leaning' walls etc. (which may or may not have the effect you want).
If you haven't used Bruce's molds before, they are very easy and durable to use. Try some small projects before diving headlong into a larger project. There's a bunch of half finished large projects out there I'm sure!
Good luck!

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

In that case leave it with me. I'll go digging and find a 5+ year old thread to resurrect.
