I've gone for royal blue, red, gold.

My first Vamp has tones of blue skin with red armour with gold trim. Once finished he will look awesome.

You never know one of these days I may even post a couple of pics on here.

I have seen them in purple and gold; blue and green; I saw a really good team in Blue and white.

finished building my thralls last night.. they'll probably look too much like Norse or maybe even Pit Fighters for some people's liking, but at least I have 8 unique guys as thralls - gives my vamps (still in the mail) a choice of blood to suck on.. LOL

Also decided to go with Dynamo Praag - I'm sure a city the size of Praag can support more than one BB team after all..

will hopefully get them primed tonight and start the painting process... white and purple, check!

not a huge fan of posting WIP shots.. sometimes I need the layers of paint to hide my ham-fisted putty-work..

I'll try to paint up a thrall to completion(ish) tonight though so people can comment before I "finish" - I did that for the Turncoats and it helped me to get feedback on a few improvements before I sealed him...

Maybe monitor or photo but the purple looks a little flat, other than that looks good chief.

A Space marine shoulderpad Norse?
 I've seen a lot better from you in the concept department (like your Norse thrower for example)

Painting looks all right but indeed a little flat
mmmh

Maybe i'm just too tired to comment after the 24h tournament in Belgium 8)

fair enough - I liked the fanged skull on the shoulder pad - ties it in to the Vampires. All thralls have the same pad. Sometimes I sculpt stuff or convert from lots of different minis, sometimes I take short-cuts.. this was definitely a short cut, but then I really don't want to spend hours converting a player worth 40,000... I don't mind taking 20 hours on a Bloodthirster..

Unfortunately Chuck Norris would make a very poor thrall, as it is generally agreed upon that his beard feeds upon the vampires, and never the other way around.

Plus, every time this thrall makes a successful block action, Norse is obligated to exclaim "Sonic BOOOOM!"
