New guy here, just saying hi

Post by Red Orc »

Just wanted to introduce myself. I run our league's website here in Austin, TX. Don't have much else to say, I really just wanted to see if my avatar works.
Sure wish I had the money to go to the tournament. Maybe next year.
Oh, and my handle, Red Orc. Orcs don't HAVE to be green. The orcs in Lord of the Rings wern't green were they?? Were they?!?! Sorry, some of my leaguemates give me hassels for painting my team of orcs with red skin.
(plug web site, must plug web site)
Check out our site. I have recently made two custom pitches and there are a lot of pictures of individual minis.

Welcome Red. Do your red orcs bleed green blood?

Welcome :D

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

Actually, I think Darkson might have been quoting the great Sega game Altered Beasts. "Raise from you grave!" "Welcome to you doom! (bubbling fart noises)"
I know Gallowin, he wasn't one of the ones that mocked the redish skinned orcs.
In our upcomming league, I'm playing a killer experienced skaven team. Well, maybe not killer... but I do have a long legged, one turn scoring, touch down machine.
