Re: do you have a gnome team?
whoa a lot of posts since last time I checked. Im going to keep the scared gnome look, definitely a first time pilot. also, in another forum someone suggested cigars for the pilots and I loved the idea, I might do a conversion. especially since it is so iconic of pilots that wear those types of goggles.

@galak starscraper: I think it would definitely boost sales if they were much cheaper. I don't see much benefit of them being pewter. magnetizing arms is difficult. the models may chip easier because of the weight. a fall will almost certainly mean the model will break at the seams. mold lines would be easier to clean with resin. converting would be easier. also pewter is expensive.

The pewter price for any Ogre type team is expensive. I think people would consider the gnomes in resin/plastic as a good value alternative. Also the assembly would be easier.
I'm not overly familiar with kickstarter but if it allows you to cover the outlay with minimal risks then it sounds like a good idea.

I would love to see a broader kickstarter in the vein of the reaper bones line.
There are a whole load of the older impact teams I'd like to see converted to plastics. My dream scenario would see, for example, three teams for $100 with go ahead at $30k, then stretch goals making extra teams available for $30. Maybe some new free limited edition stars at certain levels too, or an elfball pitch.
Hopefully that initial 30k level would represent cutting and running the three teams on a single sprue mold that could then be separated for cheap future stock to retail at $40 a team. Value for customers, cash injection to Impact, and good residual assets.

Definitely something to consider. Thanks for the feedback. I like the idea of doing a KickStarter to convert our heaviest items to a less expensive but still high quality material.
Da Crusher ... as long as you trust the person doing the KickStarter to send you the items (like us!!!) KickStarter is really great way to pick up some items.
I have not yet gotten burned on any KickStarter I have suppported. But I also do my homework to make sure I feel I can trust the manufacturer first.

Re: do you have a gnome team?
Slight thread necro, however I now painted enough for elfball. I have 3 more contraptions to finish to complete the bloodbowl squad:
