Thought I'd post up some in-progress shots of my latest project.

A human team using Impacts Divine Wind figures, plus an Oni demon as an ogre (I think it was Norse who first suggested this figure as a good match for the DW team?)

So, here I am presenting:-

I think its now out of production, but I managed to nab one off ebay.
It's from the Hell Dorado range....Sha Ren Tze or something.

Good spot - I'd not even considered that to be honest!

I got some flat green on half the team last night - I usually paint one or two figures to completion to try out the colour scheme, and once I'm happy I go into production-line mode and paint the rest en masse. I'll probably re-do the face on the Oni demon as I'm not 100% happy with it. I think it's the black moustache, it doesn't work with the black lips.

My memory is telling me that Oni demons have red faces and black lipstick, but that's probably from watching too much "Monkey!" as a kid...

That's not a bad idea - I'll give it a try.
Another thing to consider is that I haven't highlighted the moustache yet, that may improve the overall look.

@Buggrit, I've seen those HF minis before and they're great but I wanted this team to use the Impact minis so there's no ambiguity over positionals. It's clear from day 1 to you and your opponent which are the blitzers, throwers etc.

I did a bit of experimentation with the face on the Oni yesterday - I tried purple lips but it still didn't look right so I painted them again but just going for red to match his face.
It still wasn't working quite right, so I decided to paint in the moustache, eyebrows and eyes so I could judge it in a more "finished" light - now I think it's starting to work (which is a good thing, because if I put any more layers on the detail will start to get lost!)

Note to self:- do NOT paint any more red faces, they are a b'stard to highlight
