Using the dodge skill
This is probably a really easy one, but I was nailed completely by one of the players in my league a few days ago. He pointed out to me that a player dodging out of a square in an opponents tackle zone but remaining in the TZ doesn't get to use his dodge skill if he fails. The way the rules are written, this seems hard to object against, but we always played it so that the dodge skill could be used to re-roll ANY failed dodge roll, period. What is your opinion folks?

Nitpicking nonsense of that player in your league if you ask me. Many rules in the LRB are not written 100% fool-proof, in most of them you can read really silly things - but only if you want to.
Just tell him that the dodge-rules state "use this skill if someone dodges out of his opponents tackle-zone", if you go by the book, then you always dodge out of "one" tackle-zone to "another" tackle-zone, it doesn't matter for the dodge who is the "owner" of the tackle-zone you are moving to and whether is this the same opponont or not, its just another tackle-zone. All tackle-zones are treated seperately and have the same effect on playing. Tell him this...
If only those players would spend the same amount of time and creativity for preparing team strategies and tactics, as they waste on reading the rules 10 times just to find a loophole.
(sorry, I'm a little upset, but I hope my answer has helped you)
