The Sandgroper minis have a high sculpt cost so the cost will at least partially reflect that.Gaixo wrote:Hopefully the price isn't in scale with the Sandgroper witch elf.

From what I know about Seb Archer's sculpting fees, I would say that the sculpting cost of the Minotaur was similar to the Witch Elf. That said, I was very happy with result and found it to be well worth the cost.Fassbinder75 wrote:The Sandgroper minis have a high sculpt cost so the cost will at least partially reflect that.Gaixo wrote:Hopefully the price isn't in scale with the Sandgroper witch elf.
A price has still not been set for the Minotaur, but I expect that it will cost less than the Sandgroper Witch Elf.

Based on our discussions with Olaf and the knowledge we are gaining with how the spincast plastic works and how much a mould can handle.
My guess is the figure will end up being somewhere between $10 and $15 USD each. It all depends on how many copies we can fit into a 12" mould.
Not a bad price for a Pedro sculpted Big Guy.

Even at $15 I love the fact it is possible to get modes at 2/3's of the GW price at higher quality!

I'm not sure what a GW Minotaur sells for overseas, but here in Australia it is $41 for a BB Minotaur, and $33 for a Warhammer Minotaur!
So even at $15 it would be less than half the price of a GW Minotaur. GW aren't exactly known for their low, low prices, but $41 for a BB Minotaur that was sculpted over 20 years ago is just stupid.

Glad to see GW are keeping the price between countries roughly in line with the exchange rate then.
