Really spectacular stuff. What skill.
Can I ask how you got that multi-coloured chequer-board effect going in the first three dwarf pictures?
It looks so good.

Cheers!

It's actually more easy then it looks, I usually start with 2 colours and paint horizontal lines, next I'll paint a third colour in a vertical line. The only thing you have to do now is paint little squares in a fourth colour into the vertical line. I hope this is a good explanation...

I like your teams a lot! In some ways I'd say they look a tad flat, but I really like boldness of your schemes - thats something I try and achieve with my own work. Minis need to look good on a board in front of you, not 2 inches from your face!

Think the goblins are my favourite of the lot - really nice characterful team, nice conversions and great use of the river trolls. Nice bold schemes throughout though!

What are the models for the Trolls on the Night Gobbo team? Especially the blue one.

Great teams the lot of them though :)

They are the GW Plastic River trolls, they come witrh 3 so I've still got 1 left for an upcoming underworld team :)

That's what I was hoping to hear, as I'm also doing an underworld team right now and was hoping to use those troll models ;)

gobbos look great, love the black and white chequers, really old skool!

not taken with the trolls being different colours, and I think some of the highlighting is a little too obvious (like the spikes on the trolls head for instance) but in terms of instant wow factor, they look awesome!

Yeah those chequers the gobins are fantastic!

I love the Krox with the white and gold shoulder on the purple skin and pink tongue. Really nice. Has a certain regal quality about him :)

This team I finished last year, quite happy with the result, but looking back I should have left the gore out...
