Big Guys coins. 1 or 2 side?

Post by Videador »

I am making coins for prone and stunned Big Guys. The big question to me: do them 1 side or 2 side?

For root and stupid definitely 1 side but for the others Prone/stunned I really don´t know...

Here is the WIP for the treeman same coin for stunned/prone and 1coin for root.

I made my own for my Krox, which is so big when he's down. That's why it's 2 sided. If he's to big to lie down stunned, then he's to big lie down prone.
Make it 2 sided unless you really want ppl to have to buy 2 coins :)

If they sit flat enough I would say two sided.

Also, those look awesome.

I Agree. I finally make 2 different coins and do another think for the Root state.

Here is 1 finish and the other close.

(the idea of this one is to paint a skull in the eyes on the stunned, on the other a very very hungry hit treemen XD)

Gaixo, chigger254 and Doowa, you have a treemen pack (2 diferent coins and root markers) for free. Only have to pay shipping (3€).
I spect they will be finish at tehe same time as the jungle bases and the mega SALE!.

The plan is to get 2 different coins for every BG: Tree, Troll, Mino, Yeti, Ogre, Kroxy, Nurgle and .... "big demon of blood and skulls".

Some changes in some, for example I think 1 yeti coin is enough. I want to make packs that work in BB teams. This time 2 coins for the two treemen + a marker for being root.

Will be casted is resin, same quality as miniatures. Imagine these coins in metal…. It will be great buy shipping costs will by crazy,, and carry them to the tournaments.. you can KO your opponent with them XD

If you find them good.. wait to see them painted.

in 3 weeks the Recast Sale of FBD and HT will take place. Then some new products will appear, these coins are one of at least 5 new supplies we will start selling them with discount.

Personally, I think they're a bit on the large side - I prefer stunned/prone tokens that are normally base size.
Love the sculpting and humour of them, just to big for me.

Agree in the size. I try to make then on 25mm bases but I finally take the 30mm size.

I am going to update the last markers that I made in summer that are in 20mm. will be 2 side as these coins.

Excellent! I will take you up on that offer, and most likely buy more of the other Big Guy coins once you get them done, as I was actually looking for something like this.

Of course they will!
The problem is that my god is the god of rotten. XD
In the future I want to make a new Skaven,or ratmen, marker. I have some ideas, like to make a generic cheese + rat marker orrr... what will be greater, a marker for each faction/clan of the ratmen.
I played a league with only ratmen clans and was awesome!
