Fanath Pro-Elves
I like this Fanath elfs.
They aren´t as sexy as the Greebo but they represent well what a normal elf must be.

Re: Fanath Pro-Elves
I definitely want to see more of this team. I really like the girl, but the guy could use some more overt Blood Bowl elements in my few. Promising start though!

To be honest, not that impressed with either. The male looks like he's bowing at the start of a waltz, and the female pose says nothing "blood bowl" to me.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Don't elves view Blood Bowl as a 'dance' anyway what with all that dodging and leaping around that they do...?Darkson wrote:The male looks like he's bowing at the start of a waltz

Re: Fanath Pro-Elves
Not sure about them. 2nd Ed elves are still for me the epitome of what a pro elf team looks like.
Based on the images there, they look like they could be a good alternative for high elves, but I'd need to see more of the team.

Re: Fanath Pro-Elves
This is only the start. He is doing the basic players first.
When he finish the de lines and have increased his elf sculpting experience he will start with the rest of the team.
Yeah this means that will be a whole team. Still to be decided if it is going to be sell in packs (like 4 o 5 figs) or all the team together when is finish.
If I saw something I will psot ti here.

Re: Fanath Pro-Elves
They look nice, but I think I appreciate most how they're leaning away from the action, which would be appropriate for elves.

I only have GW high elves, functional but nothing special, I like the look of these so far....
As for how to sell them, as a team with all the correct positional, nothing puts me off buying more than having to buy " booster" or trade so I can get the correct number of Models in the correct position!!
Just my thoughts

I have to say I feel the same.Darkson wrote:To be honest, not that impressed with either. The male looks like he's bowing at the start of a waltz, and the female pose says nothing "blood bowl" to me.
I quite like the concept as a more D&D style wood elf team that could work as pro or high elf too. But aside from the shoulder pads there is nothing that really makes them look like Bloodbowl players. If these are the linemen then the positionals would open up more scope however and would benefit from more dynamic throwing, catching and blitzing poses.
Another issue is that the proportions and poses look a bit off, the right arm of the new guy looks really awkward and the left is clearly shorter.

Wait for the Indigogo on this Summer

The idea is:
8 line
2-4 blitzer
2 thrower
2 catcher
*star players!??? could be

Re: Fanath Pro-Elves
Should it not be 2-4 catchers and 2 blitzers given that the 2 teams most suited to the models are only allowed that?Videador wrote:Spoiler!!!axiom wrote:Still not sold; I really need to see the full team. At the moment I'd pass
