Impact! update on FF stuff

Post by mrinprophet »

While other figures have eaten up most of our time, there are a few things in the works.

1. We have an old school Troll in Superman punch pose at the caster. It's a nice little figure and will probably be around $10US/ 8Eur in plastic.
2. Our next all-female team is making progress. The linewoman sculpts are complete (3 versions) and work will begin on the 2 hunters, 1 thrower, 1 striker. Not sure on timing, but there's been progress. Looking for another $35 team deal.
3. Artwork for a modular Ogre team is complete, with sculpting to begin next month. If all goes well, 5EUR per ogre.
4. Apes have finally arrived in plastic. Look for reduced cost teams coming soon. These should be VERY affordable in plastic.
5. Gnome team was moulded this week for conversion to plastic. This will probably cut the price in half for this team.
6. Completed molding for two tournament figures we will be selling after the tourneys.

It looks like the Amazon team is just about finished. Should be sent to the 3d printer in a week. Here's a quick pic of the linewomen. Should be a $35 for a 14 player team.

I ummed and ahhed over whether to get in on the Necrom Amazon kickstarter or not, and decided to pass.
Looks like I was right to wait.

I'd like to see the rest of the team and get an overall feel, but I'm getting a good vibe from these 3 ladies :-)

I posted a black and white render on twitter....it's not a high quality shot which is why I didn't post it here. I have a video showing the entire team, but I'm waiting for one last detail before posting. The theme is traditional MesoAmerican with traditional Aztec/Mayan/Incan themes.

Impact! update on FF stuff

Post by Shteve0 »

Great stuff, Chris! These look good!

Any news on the Apes plastic sets that were expected last month?

Last but not least, hope Tom's alright. Disconcerting to not see him on the boards for so long...

I really like those Amazons. Nice poses and look strong 'amazonian' women. I'll get them and give an Amazon team a try.

It is sounding like an echo, but I finally found an Amazon team I like. Cannot wait. As if I had nothing else to paint and nothing else to do but paint.

I'm recovering slowly from my surgery. I have a massive bags of Apes that are all mixed together that I need to sort before I can put the Apes in the store. I'm hoping I have the energy to do that this week and as soon as that bag is sorted I can get the Apes in the store.

(going to hope my Ogres when they are done get a similar reaction to Chris's Amazons)

Tom
