Orc Team (conversions)

Post by Sir-Skofis »

Well this is the third team of the 6 that we have already finished.

My brother and I made this Blood Bowl Orc Team using 11 Ork Boyz, 2 Goblins, 4 Black Orc heads and a troll from the Battle for the Skull Pass Boxed Game.

The Players of the team are:

4 Orc Blitzers made with Ork Boyz, their shoulder pads and two of the metal jaws are from the plastic Ork Boyz, and the other two were made with cardboard.

1 Orc Thrower and 2 Orc Linemen. The pointing hand from the Thrower is from the Warhammer Fantasy Savage Orc Shaman Wurrzag, the model that I bought came with two extra hands.

4 Black Orc Blockers. To made them a little more impressive than the ork boyz, we used two pair of shoulder pads glued together in each model, and we also tried to change a little bit their position.

2 Goblins and 1 Troll. My brother modified the position of the troll arms, choosing to put him trying to grab a goblin to throw him or to eat him.

I also made a logo for the team, this logo is entirely mine.

there's a lot of kit-bash orc teams out there in the last decade, but this one is pretty nice...

I must admit your green stuff work looks a little rough on the unpainted versions, but painted up they look great!

goblin helmets and black orc shoulder pads really make a difference I think..

Thanks, before my brother and I made this team we search the web and picked up (or stole 8) ) ideas from different orc teams, one of the ideas was how to make the black orc shoulder pads, so it is not as original as the dwarf team or the high elf team. There are still some things that we haven't copied like how to transform the goblins or the troll but I don't really like how the result of the troll.

I’d love to see those designs used to make a goblin team.

You already have the troll and goblin so just need to do some more of those and the secret weapons.

Thank you all!
Spubbbba we'll probably end up doing a goblin team but that will have to wait until we finish with the teams that we have in process.
