UPDATE - New studio getting carpet next Monday the 27th and I'm helping our new landlord set up the place afterwards! This means, in the next 6 weeks -

Trying to avoid spoilers for those who haven't listened:
Sounds like one of the coaches got seriously diced and the other should be thanking his lucky stars for the win.
Also the coach who called IP should hang his head in shame.

Did not disappoint, another great CHG Cup 'cast. I always find myself trying to picture how you deal with the logistics of actually recording the thing without disturbing the game.

And hey, that's three in a row now where the team I rooted for won!

We have the process about as smooth as it can be after all these title games. The coaches are usually very patient with us as we take notes and seek occasional clarification, though we try very hard to bother them as little as possible. One of us (usually me) takes written notes while Drew types his and takes pics before each turn. We also record the coach interviews before, at half, and after the game, just like the shows say. Only way to get honest thoughts from them.

Then we meet later to merge our notes and add flavor to certain spots - the Beastman catching food from the crowd, a certain coach actually running onto the pitch to foul, the hairspray incident, stuff like that. Then we add commercials that either we write or listeners send in.. Once we have everything in order, including the pregame stuff (predictions, Road to the Blood Bowl, etc.) and postgame stuff, we try to record in one big go. However, sometimes we need to have more than one recording session.

I am HAPPY to share our process with these shows because it is my great desire for other podcasts (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) to do this so I can listen to shows I do not know the ending of already.
