Another Pro question

Post by Mortalman »

Hi

I have always played that when using Pro you only get to re-roll one dice, so if you roll a 2Dice block you still can only re-roll one if you get to make the re-roll at all. Is this how other people play it? Several people have asked me if I'm sure that's how it's played recently and I'm feeling unsure of myself. Any ideas?

nope in your league you could re-roll all dices of one roll (as far as your pro roll was successful).

I think pro is bad enough, so I wonder that anybody took that skill under your rule ... 8)

From LRB:
"Once per team turn, a Pro is allowed to re-roll any one dice roll he has made."

Notice that "dice" is pluralized, therefore allowing for the reroll of multiple dice if the case calls for it (e.g. blocks). Furthermore, Pro is just like a TRR except that it only works 50% of the time.

Not sure about that...i think it could increase the usefullnes of the skill...
Suppose my WA has pro...and you rolled double pushback. I wouldn't use pro to be certain that i don't roll skulls. With this rule you can go for certainty.

Your logic is flawed. They use "dice" in the LRB everytime they mention the word, you will not find "die" in there, at all. Even when they are refering to one and only one.

But he is correct, it's any one throw of a die/dice.

even better. You have just one TRR per turn, but can use pro as well (even several times in a turn, on different players / rolls obviously)
