THE BOGLAND DREDGERS

Named after the HFH gobo rivals that will appear in the full length comic I'm working on.

. .taken a few pics of the gobbos...most have water effect on them..a couple need leaks plugging and topping up again..post them later as about to watch Man of steel..

Bogland Dredgers ~ WIP
Things to do still in general;
Add a small amount of blonde/gree flock to raised areas of muddy bases.
Add emblems to all players.
Possibly add an additional layer of just clear water-effect to base. Currently has murky green coloured water effect. This is to add a touch more depth to watery areas.
Varying individual final details to a few of the players, eyes, items etc.
Repair one of the gobos bases as it has a failed mold hole in it.
Repaint all base rims brown again and number/name them up. Front and rear.
Design digital logo for team sheet.
Go play in a Stunty friendly tournament and have fun with them!
Build custom bogland carry/display board for minis to fit into...and paint the bugger!

Pug, just spotted a minor error... get some Tamiya Clear Red (with a little black ink in it) on them entrails to gribbly them up a bit!!

Wow a really nice team. Love the painted boats you have done an amazing job on the wood/old paint effect. The pictures are a lot better too.

@ Olaf the Stout ~ The murky water was done with a"Water Effect" solution. I started with a teaspoon of water effect and dropped in a blob of Citadel Catchan Green. Gave it a swirl and appled to to the bases with and old brush. The technique was to get a good drop on the brush, place it onto a bit of the water area of the base and then push it into place with the brush. Also I simply increase the level of it by then just placing a couple more droplets onto the still wet surface and the liquid evened out by itself.
Not shown in the pictures is the result with an additional water effect layer without catchan green, to bring the level back up after the initial one dried and to add a bit more water gloss to it. As the mixing in of the paint does reduce the shine of the effect a little but not catastrophically.

I dunno about the Bogland Dredgers as a comic per se. But they will feature on occasion in the strip and as the constant opponent to the home town of Treedale in the HFH comic book/novel thing.
