Re: Scibor Miniatures Dwarf Team
I was just thinking it was a shame there were no good and dynamic Bloodbowl Dwarf sculpts out there.
Not sure if these guys quite cut it though, the sculpts look a bit off somehow. But maybe I've become too accustomed to GW's heroic proportioned Dwarfs.

They do look a bit more comical then what we've traditionally been fed. But I can see a draw for why some folks might like this team.spubbbba wrote:Not sure if these guys quite cut it though, the sculpts look a bit off somehow. I know they're WIP, but not a patch on his normal dwarfs.

Re: Scibor Miniatures Dwarf Team
I hpe these are wips, I don't like the big armour plates covering large parts of the upper body. I doubt they would be able to move in them.
I really like the players being of different size, height and shape; would be the main selling point, at least for me.

Re: Scibor Miniatures Dwarf Team
I very much like them too, but would wish they fixed the huge armour plates. I'm not saying I won't be buying them even with the huge plates, but the decission would have been easier without

Re: Scibor Miniatures Dwarf Team
I like them. They're different from the usual 150 year old, dwarven longbeard clones that are out there.
I think the smaller dwarf should have a shorter beard, to show that maybe he's a younger dwarf.

Re: Scibor Miniatures Dwarf Team
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they're overly bad, look like they're be better than many of the dwarfs out there, just compared to the high standards he's set with his fantasy dwarfs (amongst others) they're not in the same league. I'm not keen on dwarfs figures as a rules, but I've ended up buying some of his because they're so good. He was high on my list of "sculptors I wished made FF figures", and I'm disappointed in these.

Re: Scibor Miniatures Dwarf Team
I agree with Darkson here, hopefully they are an early WIP and we'll see some of what makes Scibor's other dwarfs so special when these are finished.
