Break Tackle question

Post by mikeyc222 »

i have a blitzer on my orc team with break tackle. i was told by someone in my group that i could declare i was dodging out of a takle zone and if i failed i could then declare i was using break tackle and then be able to reroll my break tackle roll if i failed. this doesn't make sense to me. it sounds a little too much like rerolling a failed roll twice. what do you guys think?

You are right - when you make a dodge roll you decide either to use AG (for a normal dodge) or to use ST (for a Break Tackle dodge). You can't try twice using both.

BTW, I'm presuming your blitzer have a ST increase (or an AG decrease)? Otherwise, there was no point taking Break Tackle as a skill anyway.

Yep, Break Tackle allows you to use your ST instead of AG for the dodge roll. A great skill for Bull Centaurs, Saurus and a few others.

:) Yeah, that helps. Any player with a higher strength than agility could consider Break Tackle. It's essential on a lizardman team, or all of your Saurii are too easily pinned.
