Siringit Plastic team from Impact! - need advice for mix!

Post by GalakStarscraper »

Okay for the Siringit team for Elfball will be ready in plastic resin in 1 to 2 weeks as one of our next $35 plastic resin teams. It has 12 different miniatures in the team.

My question to you is if I wanted to add 5 extra figures to the mould to make it have more flexibility as an offering to customers. Which 4 figures would you add the team mould? http://www.impactminiatures.net/index.p ... n=siringit

Gorillataur and Tantor are out as we already have seperate moulds for them made and they can be picked up seperately.

My current thought is to do a 2nd copy Rhino, Hippo, Warthog, Cape Buffalo and Hyena for the team would probably set the team up for the best match for another purpose ... but I wanted to get an idea what TFF thought.

I use them as Nurgle with extra rhino, extra hippo, 4 buffalo in total and a few warthogs as rotters, if that helps.

My thoughts? Dammit Tom, I'm probably being made redundant in a month and you've gone and released 2 teams I want, in addition to the sarcos already on my list... I know they're cheap, but that's now 3 teams I want to buy!

I guess these may see most use as Pact? So I guess any of the (what to me look like) lineman types - Buffalo, Warthog, Baboon, Cheetah - could work? I'd say the Lion looks good too, but he seems to be a bit bigger from the description?

Out of interest, what would work best for this as an Elfball team? As that is something else I'd like to get into...

Agree these guys look well suited to pact, so whatever option works for those. Do you have a team pic for relative sizes?

Will likely grab a set :)

As an elfball team you would want pretty much one of each and no more. Maybe an extra meerkat.

Always happy to play elfball in gaps between BB games at tournaments if we ever run into each other.

I would say definitely one of each Mecat stance (i.e. 2 on a team)! In Elfball they are an amazing player when backed up by a Thrower, a Tantor and the Lion Hunter. Siringit are possibly THE easiest team to play a balanced game with both strength and speed.

I have a pretty good record with them and always take two Mecats (one may start the test on the bench, depending upon my opponent's team).

As for the original question, the team could be used as Chaos, Orc, Nurgle, Ogres, Halfling, in fact pretty much any team with the right mix of player sizes. Adding an extra, hippo, rhino, 2 of the middle size players and a mecat. That should cover most roster for the first 3 I mentioned.
